Dr. Gaines graduated from Ole Miss with her B.A. in secondary education, then went on to work in the human health field for a time before pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine and went on to graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine - though she is still a die-hard Ole Miss fan. She put down roots in New Albany and still resides there with her husband and fur-babies where she enjoys gardening and has even started a small Christmas tree farm!
